Our story
Hi, my name is Divya, and I am the CEO, Founder, and creator of SHANTI³. The word ‘Shanti’ is commonly repeated three times in Sanskrit, meaning ‘Peace of Body, Peace of Mind, and Peace of Spirit.’ This encapsulates the philosophy I embody, promoting a calm and balanced lifestyle.
I was born in Hong Kong and grew up between London and Hong Kong. As an undergraduate, I studied Russian History before spending many years in Law School.
Then, everything changed. Corporate dream come true—I felt like Rachel from Suits or Elle from Legally Blonde. However, the reality was far from glamorous. The work and long hours were grueling. I was working from 9:30 AM to 11:30 PM every day. The work culture demanded late nights and a relentless focus on the job above all else.
Weeks turned into months. I spent most of my time in the corporate office, surrounded by equally exhausted and stressed colleagues. My health began to deteriorate: I experienced stress, anxiety, insomnia, acid reflux, weight gain, hair loss, and irritable skin.
