Eat Your Skincare – The Glow Starts Within

Spinach and carrots are staples on my shopping list – and here’s why.

🥕 Carrots for Collagen

Carrots are naturally rich in beta-carotene, which the body converts into Vitamin A – a nutrient that’s vital for skin rejuvenation. Vitamin A boosts collagen production, helping to maintain skin elasticity, soften the appearance of fine lines, and keep your complexion looking radiant. I always go for organic carrots and love eating them raw – simple, crunchy, and powerful.

🌿 Spinach for Skin Strength

Spinach is loaded with iron, which supports healthy blood flow and oxygen delivery to the skin – both essential for that natural glow. It's also packed with antioxidants and Vitamin C, which help protect the skin from environmental stressors and promotes healing.

My favourite way to eat spinach? The Korean way! It's no secret that I'm obsessed with Korean BBQ and Spinach Namul has been my favourite since I was little. It’s easy, delicious, and makes the perfect nutrient-rich snack. Just boil two bags of spinach in hot water for one minute, then blanch in cold water and drain well. Mix in two teaspoons of chopped garlic, a tablespoon of sesame oil, and a splash of soy sauce. That’s it. Keep it in the fridge in an air-tight container and snack on it throughout the week – I do!
